  • Ensure Bluetooth is ON on your iPhone (required for wireless CarPlay)
  • Move your phone closer to the car unit

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 4K CarPlay noticeably better than standard?

Yes — especially on larger car screens (10"+). Maps are sharper, text is crisper, and video content looks significantly better.

Can I watch Netflix on the HDMI output?

Yes! With WiFi connected, you can stream Netflix and other apps on the HDMI-connected screen (subject to app availability in your region).

Does the HDMI output work while driving?

Yes, in mirror mode. Extended mode with video playback may be restricted to when the car is parked, depending on your car's settings.

Is it compatible with all cars?

The TBox UHD works with any car that has factory wired CarPlay. Cars from 2017 onwards with OEM CarPlay are generally compatible.
